Krka River Rafting

The River Krka, karst beauty of Croatia, from its spring to the mouth on some 75 kilometers has created several of the most significant hydrological and geo-morphological phenomena on the planet. Beginning at the eastern edge of the Knin fields, it enters into the canyon made of semi-desert stone landscape of limestone plateau, seems miraculous and unreal. Park Krka´s flow and the area around it have rightfully been proclaimed as national park. Its upper section near Knin, downstream from the Butišnica River mouth to the bridge at Brljan is also a part of the national park. Organized group visits are possible only by boat. An extremely pleasant experience, easy rafting, full of the excitement of revealing unspoiled nature and the bird world. The water-rich Buštinica River, flowing from Bosnia, leads into Krka enabling a wonderful river journey in the summertime as well as enjoying the almost unbelievable beauties of nature.
